Does Deep Zoom work the same on WPF as well as Silverlight?

I know Deep Zoom and Silverlight go together. But does Deep Zoom also work on WPF?

If so, how easy is it to do "write once use many" where the Deep Zoom specific code I write for WPF will also work on Silverlight?

I am very new to this so sorry that I do not have specific questions. I am just trying to get a 10,000 foot idea of how re-usable the work I do for Deep Zoom will be.  I'd hate to redo things from WPF for Silverlight...

Thanks,

Hi newbieweb;

List of features to track in WPF4 and the details on beta1
By Jaime Rodriguez
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jaimer/archive/2009/05/27/wpf-4-and-net-framework-4-beta-1-list-of-features-totrack.aspx

"Note: At PDC, we said that DeepZoom would be in WPF4. Unfortunately that feature has been cut. We just could not squeeze it into the schedule.  There are workarounds to it: you can host Silverlight inWPF using web browser control or using the Silverlight hosting APIs"
