What is the approach for having part of one webpage display on another?

I want to have a slideshow from one webpage, display on a different webpage of mine. Each page is on a different server.

I had a contractor put together a slideshow based on the open source Piecemaker code. The issue is that the file names created by Piecemaker contain capital letters and so cannot be hosted on my primary SBI site (only lower case letters are allowed... don't ask).

The slide show is currently working on a different server - Bluehost, and can be seen about 2/3 of the way down this page:

http://www.photoebooks4u.com/Peacemaker/February%203/index_test.html

My original intention was to have the slide show on my Homepage. However, most/all of the non-Piecemaker code can be stripped off, since all I'm going to need now is the Piecemaker effect.

I am not tech/coding savvy so I don't know if the correct phrase is an I-frame or not. Bottom line, how can I take the slideshow that's working fine on Bluehost, and "insert/embed/display... whatever" that effect into my home page on a different server?

Thanks a lot.

To start an iframe is simple.

<iframe src="http://www.photoebooks4u.com/Peacemaker/February%203/index_test.html" width="100%" height="300">
  <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
</iframe>

Or an asp include if you have control over the servser includes.
<!--#include file ="somefilename"-->

Let me know if you need specific help with the code

selvol,

WOW! OK, you have my head spinning now...

For the iframe:

- How do I identify the specific piece of the webpage that I want to have displayed (rather than a small window with scrollbars)?
- Do I just put the code that you provided wherever I want the window to display on the 2nd webpage?

Regarding includes, I'm not sure what you mean by "an asp include" however a specific kind of include is allowed at SBI. They explain how at: http://help.sitesell.com/uploader/built-in.html#Includes

Thank you so much.

ERROR IN YOU CURRENT CODEflashvars="file=http://www.sbitube.com/uploads/lMlTPAAhGQWCQyePDSvi.fl
should be
flashvars="http://www.sbitube.com/uploads/lMlTPAAhGQWCQyePDSvi.fl

Thinking about this.

Capital letters.
Can't you just rename the files and path to them?

FILE = FILE.***  to FILE = file.***
PATH = http://FILE.*** to PATH = http://file.***

-------

You asked"- Do I just put the code that you provided wherever I want the window to display on the 2nd webpage? "

You should be able to replace the I frame code with the code on the page.

Start at

<embed src="http:
end after
</embed>

Hope this helps.
