Shadow copy on SBS 2003 SP2

Greets,
I suddenly noticed that although SBS shows that shadow copy is available and operating, I am unable to see the interface or use it in any of the folders on the server. The attached screens are from the server via Remote Desktop. Am I missing something. I had only wanted this service for Admin on the server and not for clients.
Thanks

Shadow copies in 2003 must be accessed via UNC - and the client to access them must be installed as well.

Try accessing \\serverName\e$ and check the properties of the folder for the Previous versions tab.  If the tab isn't there the client isn't installed.

Install the client from c:\windows\system32\clients\twclient

Howdy,
The client side is fine. I can see the "previous versions" tab as you portrayed. Is this not possible for me to view directly on the SBS? I wanted to be able to be more cautious and not allow users to "play around" with this, rather I would restore myself. Is the only way via a client (from my workstation)?
Thanks

If the client is installed on the 2003 server, you can use the server by accessing \\servername\share$ (including admin shares).  Otherwise, yes, you have to use a client.  I don't restrict people's access to Shadow Copy (or attempt to) so I don't know how you would do it.  In my experiences, users have not done stupid things with them.  That doesn't mean it couldn't happen, but I would consider it VERY unlikely.
you can run the information in this link via script and/or in conjunction with PSEXEC (from the PSTOOLS).

Hey thanks. I was more concerned with being able to view directly on the SBS and less with preventing clients. Is there anyway to do this?
