How to use NAC with Cisco 3750 switch?

Anyone have any useful links or comments on how to use or enable NAC features on a 3750 switch IOS 12.2 (40)SE?
...or if even supported?

I want to test installing and using a NAC agent on an HP Thin Client WES 2009, but do not know how to use or enable NAC on the switch.

The NAC agent doesn't work with 802.1X, it only works with the NAC server and manager, which are server-based appliances.  On the client side, there's an 802.1X supplicant built into Windows since Windows XP, and there are commercial ones available as well from Cisco, Juniper, etc.  Take a look at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc722671.aspx.

802.1X has a number of possible variations, and you may need components beyond the 3750 such as a RADIUS server.  For info on 802.1X on the 3750, see http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.2_50_se/configuration/guide/sw8021x.html

Not clear on exactly what you're proposing.  NAC involves many more components than just the switch.  The Cisco NAC agent works with the NAC servers and managers.  You can do port security on the switch, or 802.1X but that's a different animal.

Oh ok.  Thanks for clarifying.  I do not have experience with any of this.

So if I only have this switch could I do 802.1x and test it with a NAC agent on a Windows client?
