KB981407 Email Not Working

After applying KB981407 the Exchange server services were disabled  and not running, I restarted all the services and email is still not working. Any ideas?

Remove it. Check if it works.

To remove Update Rollup 10 for Exchange Server 2007 SP1, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. Then, remove update 981407.
