Greetings experts,

I need to purchase a BBWC for an HP dl380 G5. It has a p400. is this correct? 405148-B21. Just wondering as the links below have about a $200 difference.

Yes, it'skind of confusing because it's available as a battery, cable, and plastic cradle separetely.

That part number is HP Smart Array P400 24 Inch Battery Cable Kit, includes the cache module, battery, cradle, and cable.

so that's the right part and what I would need, correct? Wonder why such a dramatic price difference.

Thanks as usual

some charge just for battery, some for the kit, some for the cable.

when the battery dies after three years, you just need a battery, as you've already got the cable and cradle!

thanks. guess I'll go with the less expensive link and see what happens. still think such a significant price difference is weird.
