can anybody tell me what is the model and brand of the DVD-RW drive on a Toshiba L555d_s7930? I need to purchase a new one, but cannot find the model for that DVD drive.

Pretty much any one of these TS-L633 drives will do it. If you don't have the old face plate make sure the one you get matches.
