Hello Experts,

I never had this issue when installing iTunes

The installation hangs exactly here:
Status: Registering iTunes automation server

Try turning off your virus software and spyware protection and then installing.

Ok, i donwloaded iTunes v 10.1.2 from the Mac website...
Now according with the site you suggested, i must install QuickTime separatelly,
if so, base on the version of the iTube ive donwloaded, then what version of the
QuickTime should i get and where can i get it? thanks.

Or try downloading and installing the standalone version of QuickTime from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/. Be sure you download the version that does not include iTunes. Then once you have done that, try installing iTunes.

Just like that other asker said it,
doing the seperate install of QuickTime and iTunes has worked fine,
i am now done with the installation of iTune.
