I read it this morning (14th Feb), one of those headlines that catches your eye sometimes. It was either on google news or yahoo's front page and in the UK.
Unfortunately I wasn't really concentrating on it, only thought about it later and now I can't find it.
Perhaps you read it and can remember more than I did.

It may have had a headline involving time travel, the general gist of it was that science has answered so many questions for us that we hardly need to worry about anything any more, except consciousness - so there are still questions that are better answered if we accept that there is a deity.

It finished up with something about Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five and that there are many 'now's, we are in some of them and not in others. People never die, they just continue to exist in a different now to the one we are looking at presently.

Unfortunately that is all I can remember about it.

If you recognise it or can find it please post a link in here.

It may not be the one you read but could well be the source of what you saw. The theme carries through, maybe the UK source drew from this one?
