Terminal Service start failed. The relevant status code was No such interface supported

Not sure what caused it to stop working but it won't start. Have rebooted already.

Tried doing “net localgroup "Administrators" "NT Authority\Network Service" /add” but it did not work.

We were getting a similar problem when we installed the symantec server security suite due to a port conflict.

even though it is not secure but try to add network service to local administrators group and see if it works?

did you try processmon to track any access denied when service starts, this should give you some clue

Installing Vista SP2 resolve the issue.
