I need to install the latest version of K2 Blackpearl on SharePoint 2010, and I don't have access to the K2 Help Center. Can someone help me find the installation guide?

Buddy Blackpearl is a PoS, and K2 are a bunch of ****ers, and consequently the install guide is only available on their site.

http://help.k2.com/helppages/k2blackpearl/webframe.html?page=Home_InstallationGuide.html

The only download is attached.

Is there any particular part you're having trouble with?

Thank you for the checklist! I'm not used to everything being so locked down. I've worked with Nintex Workflow in the past, and Nintex is really good about sharing information and easy access.

For an organization I'm working with, I need to get at the blackpoint functionality set (workflow on SharePoint) in a development VM, but they only have the installation files for blackpearl. I'm trying to determine if I can install what I need on a development instance of SharePoint 2010 without using domain accounts.

Would you have any guidance on that?

Here's a simple question - the installer is saying the user account installing the software needs to have Domain User account priveleges.

Is that just a simple domain user, or is there something more required? Again, this is for a dev/standalone.

If the machine is complete off a network... just setup the server with a DC role.
But from my experience K2 needs 2 domain accounts.
1 install and another admin.

It's any domain account, nothing special.

Thanks! If I run into further issues, I'll post additional questions.
