PAGEIOLATCH_SH Wait Type with 876 Total Latch Wait Time (ms)

Is this bad?  I'm doing a very simple update (updating a bit column to 0) on a table with 227 million rows.

no, this is not bad in such a context, presuming you are updating all 227million rows.
