cannot add shared printer
I cannot ad a shared printer on a PC. I am logged into the PC as administrator.
I have tested the printer from the WK3 server and it is shared and it prints OK.
When I try to add a network printer on the PC I get "Windows cannot conect to the printer. Either the printers name was typed incorrectly or the specifid printer has lost connection to the server"
Is is typed correclty and it hasnt lost conection. I have tried setting up the printer fresh on the server. I can add other network printers on the PC that are shared from another server.
Any suggestions

what is the OS of the computer that will not connect to the share? Are you on a domain or a workgroup?
You may want to try checking a few services :
Server (required for sharing)
Print Spooler (not required, but nice to have on if sharing printers)
Double check your firewall.
In the Exceptions make sure you have File and Printer sharing checked, so it is allowing connections to the printers.
Double check your Network Connections
In the properties of the connection being used
Ensure File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks is listed and enabled.

Sharing printers uses netbios. You may have used too many letters (I think more than 16 charactors), for netbios to recognize. Try shortening the printer name, and don't use special charactors within the name.
how do you share this printer? By USB or network

I could not get this to work at all so I installed the printer on each PC locally.
execute \\nameserver
you will be asked for user and password, use administrator user and password from server.
When you view the printer, doble click on it.
