We have a Sharp MX4101 Laser printer and I installed the Sharp Network Scanner Tool on the Windows Server 2008 in order to use the scanner function. However, if the server is up but no one logs in, the Newtwork Scanner Tool doesn't start. I have to log into the server to run the scanner all the time. Is there a way to run the scanner function all the time without logging to the server?

you can set it as a service to run, or you can have the server automatically login on boot.

this will get locked out automatically as soon as the screen saver starts

start, run

control userpasswords2, select the username you wish to auto login, uncheck the require username/password to login at boot and then click ok, it will ask for the password and from then on the computer will boot up and login with the correct password running the app you have in your startup.
