Sharp AL-2030 not installing on Windows 7 32x

For some reason windows 7 32x will not install my sharp al-2030 printer/copier. I have updated driver and it say I have most up to date driver. Are they not compatible? In my printer and devices it is listed as unspecified. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Also, drivers are pre-installed with Windows 7, so you sholdn't have to update the driver file.

Let me know if the software install resolves the issue.

Wow let me re-word that. I tried installing a Sharp al-2030 printer/copier. I have windows 7 32x. The device keeps showing up as unspecified under my printer and devices. Is this printer not compatible? I do have the most up to date driver according to properties, update driver.

i did have that installed before. It is now listed in the right section of the printers and devices but now everytime I attempt to print I get a message that pops up stating, "The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do you want to continue?" After I select yes. It then will not pull paper from the tray. It keeps reading that it is out of paper when it is clearly not.

I am also getting errors that state that the pc cannot send data to the printer to check power and connection. Both are connected fine.

I noticed that it keeps switching to the bypass paper feed when i have it set to tray 1. Thats why it keeps reading no paper. So I am either getting that error or cannot send data error.

Have you tried completely un-installing and re-installing the program? You might want to give that a try and follow up.
