Dreamweaver - Uploads files and set permissions to 664 and should be 644

When uploading files from Dreamweaver via FTP or SFTP, the files get permission values of 664.  They should be 644.   What is causing this?  Where do I change this in dreamweaver or is my webserver doing this?

Hi keith1001,

That's usually the default set by the FTP server.  Dreamweaver doesn't issue a chmod command on upload.

Thats what I keep telling my hosting provider.  They say the FTP software (Dreamweaver is doing this).

When I use Filezilla, and do an FTP, it sets them to 644, bur when I do it via Dreamweaver, they get set to 664.

Can you do some uploads and then check the DW FTP log (Site | Advanced | FTP Log) and report back?

Why You Should Analyze Threat Actor TTPs

After years of analyzing threat actor behavior, it’s become clear that at any given time there are specific tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) that are particularly prevalent. By analyzing and understanding these TTPs, you can dramatically enhance your security program.
