My iMac screen is so dark that it doesn't look like the problem is the inverter
or the back light, what could this be? and how could i get arround to fix this?

Try pressing F15 (and F14), these are the keyboard shortcuts for brightness, maybe something got bumped out of whack?

Okay, with all due respect, but i am wating for others to respond as
the answer giving by "thecrew" it is not a solution, not a tip, nothing.
it would pribabily be accepted if the screen atleast turn on at bootup,
but not in this case. thanks.

Ok,
i give it back to my friend...
and the machine does power up, but no screen disply...
ir does make noise and all of that, but no screen display...
and i did not tried a sencond monitor since this is a one piece machine
and did not have any adapter plug to tried with a second monitor to display.

since this imac is kinda hard to take a part i didn't wanted to opened and take
a closer look to the inverter or the back light.
