I think Deep Zoom does not work with WPF. True?

So then can Deep Zoom run on a desktop Silverlight app. that's run "out of browser"?

Is that the right term?

Just wondering...

So, assuming there is a network connection, Deep Zoom should work when run "out of browser".  Is that also your understanding?
