I have a report where the user types in an invoice number to retrieve the data.

Because the report has a Sub report attached the user has to type in the same invoice number twice. (See attached)

Is there any way I can use a single Parameter for both reports? Parameters

You can right click ob the subreport in the main report and click on "change subreport links"
 There you can connect the subreport parameters with the parameters in the main report.

Thanks! it works after fiddling about with the links a bit!

I had to link Tinvoice to Pinvoice and select sub report parameter: ?Pm-Tinvoice

Tinvoice=transaction
Pinvoice=payment

Not sure what the ?Pm bit means though
