Monitoring Software -OID required

We are using some monitoring software to monitor all the servers that we support.

Part of the software monitors the RAID condition. When we are trying to set this up, it is asking for a OID number. I've asked the software company and they say that I'll need to contact the software vendor for help in this.

We look after a mixture of HP/Dell servers all different models.

Where can I find the OID?

This is usually used in databases etc:

OID
Object identifier (OID) is a unique set of numbers that allows Objectivity/DB to locate and manage persistent objects. An OID is 64 bits in length and it is composed of four 16-bit fields in the format of: DB-OC-PG-SL, where

      DB - database identifier (dbid)
      OC - container identifier
      PG - logical page number
SL - logical slot number on the page

OID value do not change during the lifetime of an object.
