Hello,
I am looking for any automation ideas for a monthly data export (select tables) from Oracle with delimiters and importing into MySQL.

 - I use phpAdmin to access the MySQL as well as command line for the larger imports.
- For exporting data into a text file from Oracle I use Toad.

I would like to automate this to run monthly on a few tables (not the whole database). Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You can also try using WisdomForce which would convert Oracle to flat text files quickly. You may also select just which tables to extract from Oracle. Then, it will create the files needed by MySQL.
