ACT 2008 stopped recording email communications
ACT 2008 stopped recording email communications in history for 90% of our users. We do have 2 user that are ok. Everyone uses Outlook 2007.
Problem seemed to start 1 month ago.. Right about the time we had a consultant helping us with a synching issue. The consultant insists they did nothing to cause the problem but will look at the issue for another $150 /hr.
Can someone help ??

Services.msc
right click on the service
Properties
Startup type should be: Automatic

Yes I did that and it wasn't listed. The only reason it is running now is because I double-clicked it..Not sure how to add it as a service...

Is it not listed in MSCONFIG Startup tab?

Nope.
Then you're missing a reg key.... are you running via Citrix or Terminal services?

This is actually running on the local laptop.

This article did assist in resolving the issue. Now I am working on the issue with it's not starting up automatically.
