Do a close visual inspection.   Is it possible ambient light from the adjoining light pipe is causing this?  Does the "pink" led flicker with I/O activity?   Since there is no PINK LED, and nothing in mgmt, I think it is just misaligned.

Well if ACU says nothing is wrong, then it is probably an I2C/IPMI fault, and your data is safe.  I.e, the LED circuitry or IPMI processor might have lost a byte of RAM or something obscure like that.  If you *really* wanted to get to the root cause then you'd have to run some serious diagnostics and potentially swap out the controller and look at hexdumps.   Best you can easily do is wait for a downtime window, and run motherboard & full system diagnostics, including BMC.

Personally, as long as I am 100% sure the RAID controller says all is well ... then I would ignore it.  Only exception is if you have a HP support contract.  If you have one, then make HP come out and fix it.
