Hi speed -USB Hub host controller

Hi I have an inspiron 1150 and need to know what are the option to download a Hi speed -USB Hub host controller

(I had a desk screen attached to it , then I did a clean reinstall but can't use the screen anymore)

Hi ,

Thanks for your help I just don't find "Hi speed -USB Hub host controller" as a driver from the list.

Is it a different name?

(I conected a USB port with his own Ac outlet power but still have the same issue)

in most cases, it is part of the chipset, or even video driver.
i suggest to update All your drivers

I read on a forum that one of those card could do the job. Any suggestions?

Also which one will do the best job on a inspiron 1150

yes - but do you need one?
post first if you see in the usb section ( expand it) the word "enhanced" - that means you have an USB2 host controller
did you update your drivers?

as far as drivers I looked at the list but the names have nothing where it says something related to USB 2

You are not the first one to tell me that.

But on the other hand I think our over consumption on electronic is wrong on many aspect and not only the green one.
That's why I will try to get this laptop all the way to his end.

Did you ever heard about good way of recycling computer or electronic in general?

It was working before but I always had the error message. This time it was harder to get it to work after I did a clean reinstall
