Graphic editors: visual basic 6:  Icon problems:  I have an icon I made, but when I try to use it as the sysTray icon, I get the error:  Invalid picture (Error 481)An invalid graphics format "    However,  my icon works fine in all icon viewers and icon editors.   And it compiles fine in Visual Studio C++
So, how to fix the icon so it works with VB6?

what is the color depth of your icon? VB6 doesn't support truecolor. Try reducing it to 8bpp or 16bpp and see if it works.

While waiting for an answer, I solved it myself by googling+experimenting.  I needed new icon software, and VB6 DOES accept Truecolor, but must be set it for 24bits, not 32, then it worked.
