Hi chaituu,

You can check the following things

1) The Application deployed correctly. I mean all configuration dependencies are satisfied (Datasources, Security etc.,)
2) After starting the server take a look at the end of SystemOut.log to check for the message "Application XYZ Started successfully"

Attach the error logs if you can.

Thanks,
Rishi

Hi,

Have you tried regenerating with web server plug-ins from the admin console?

I dont think so. You should never have to alter the plug-ins file by hand.

Do you get a 404 or a 500 error?

i am getting HTTP 404 not found error.

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/v6r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.websphere.express.doc/info/exp/ae/rweb_jspengine.html

as per above link i have even changed like this in the ibm-web-ext.xmi in WeatherContentWeb.war/WEB-INF folder but still problem persists.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<com.ibm.ejs.models.base.extensions.webappext:WebAppExtension xmi:version="2.0" xmlns:xmi="http://www.omg.org/XMI" xmlns:com.ibm.ejs.models.base.extensions.webappext="webappext.xmi" xmi:id="WebAppExtension_1" reloadInterval="3" reloadingEnabled="true" additionalClassPath="" fileServingEnabled="true" directoryBrowsingEnabled="false" serveServletsByClassnameEnabled="true">
  <webApp href="WEB-INF/web.xml#WebApp_1297856567155"/>
   <fileServingAttributes xmi:id="FileServingAttribute_1297856567155" name="extendedDocumentRoot"
       value="D:/MYCA/RAD75/SDP/runtimes/base_v61/profiles/was61profile1/installedApps/pc120686Node01Cell/Weather.ear/WeatherContentWeb.war"/>
  <jspAttributes xmi:id="JSPAttribute_1297856567155" name="reloadEnabled" value="true"/>
</com.ibm.ejs.models.base.extensions.webappext:WebAppExtension>

above solutions not worked...

need enable ServingEnabled="true" in the below file has done the trick.

config\cells\pc120686Node01Cell\applications\Weather.ear\deployments\Weather\WeatherContentWeb.war\WEB-INF\ibm-web-ext.xmi
