Hello, is it possible to create the content type, list and list instance in sharepoint 2010 or sharepoint designer, and then export the xml files so I can put them on a visual studio 2010 project? and how exactly?

Thank you

If you save the list as a template (should see that option in settings if the Publishing Feature isn't enabled on the site that holds the list) that saves the content type and list definition as XML.

You can then import that into SharePoint and create new instances. If you wanted to put that list definition et al into a Visual Studio project though, you'd have to do a lot of it by hand. Quite a difficult job.
