"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well, the message says that it cannot find the Sql server, which suggests one of a few possibilities.

1) The server/database name in the connection string is incorrect
2) The SQL Server box is blocking incoming traffic on the port for SQL Server (1433 by default)
3) The client machine firewall/anti-virus is blocking the outgoing traffic
4) SQL is not configured for remote connections (although this is unlikely unless you are running SQL Express)
