MS Outlook 2007 .PST file will not delete

I have a machine with MS Outlook 2007. We used an application to convert .EML (Windows Mail) to a .PST to import into MSO. When we started I tested the conversion app. so it created a .PST fiile, which at this point I can not delete, as MSO thinks it is being converted, so it will not delete.

I have looked into removing via the Registry, but can not make heads nor tails of which would be the correct entry to delete.

Anyone ever had something like this?

Have you tried removing the profile from Outlook, closing Outlook completely and then deleting (search the HD for *.pst and delete from Windows Explorer). From my understanding of your question, there is no need to go near the registry.

No, I have not tried that, but I will. I just could NOT delete the additional .PST file.

Normal reason for not being able to delete a pst is if Outlook is open (check task manager, even if you think it's closed). Fairly guaranteed way to delete should be in safe mode. Just don't open Outlook first.
