Deploy Java through SCUP in SCCM SUP

I have been trying for a while now to successfully deploy Java updates through SCUP in SCCM using a SUP. I am able to successfully deploy Adobe patches but when i try to deploy Java i get the errosr:

Failed to get update (Site_7645FBD0-8B72-477F-A8DB-4CE9ADBD8523/SUM_126a6678-9bc4-4a49-9c14-52608a80cc11) Article Id, error = 0x80040215      UpdatesDeploymentAgent      2/17/2011 9:59:29 AM      5000 (0x1388)

I am tyring to deploy Java 6u24 to a machine that currently have Jave 6u23 installed by running the .exe. My command is as follows:

jre-6u24-windows-i586.exe /s /v"/qn

i have tried the install string with:

/q, /qn, /s, /s /qn, /s /v /qn, /s /v"/qn and none work.

I can verify that the .cab package is being downloaded to the Cache folder and is being extracted to the windows/temp folder with the java msi and installer cab.

If i extract the java.exe from the update cab and run it it works fine. If i goto the windows/temp folder and execute the java.msi it installs fine as well.

I dont know where to look next for a resolution. Any help would be appreciated.

/s AgreeToLicense=YES IEXPLORER=1 REBOOT=Suppress JAVAUPDATE=0 JU=0 AUTOUPDATECHECK=0

This is the command line tool agreements that i used for the install and the exe and they work pretty well.

If that doesnt work the other thing i can tell you is use localupdatepublisher to build the java package.  I built my java update 25 that way with the msi and added the data cab and transform patch that way.  For some reason right now scup wont let you bundle extra files into the package.  Personally i think thats a features that lacking and hopefully will be fixed in a future update.

It appears that due to the limitation of SCUP and WSUS to deploy packages that contain a single file deploying Java as it comes from the vendor is not possible.
