I am looking for a software package that will "take in" a formatted ANSII Standard Message (i.e. 837...) and convert to a predefined File.  The file will be tagged delimited.  Any thoughts or experience with such a package?

I used work on EDI files, but it was on mainframes.

Here i fond something useful to you.

EDI Editor for 810, 850, HIPAA 837 Professional, 837I, 837D.... It helps you to create new or modify existing EDI Documents in a visual environment instead of a flat raw text file. It also validates the document against the HIPAA Implementation Guide published in May, 2000.
