Hi guys,

We recently got a NAS from a another company. Its a Plextor PX-EH250L
I can get to the configuration page via the web but was unable to change the setting of existing folders.

There are a couple of folders now with data that we do not want to lose: 1. Company and 2. Personal.

- The Company data is fine since it allow All users to access, thus I can easily browse to it via \\NAS-IP\Company

- The Personal folder was configure to allow only a user call "daniel" to access. I can change the password to this user Daniel but when I access it via the \\NAS-IP\Personal it will ask me for user and password which was not accepted at all no matter what.

I am on Win 7 and joined to Domain. I cannot add "all users" into this folder access permission, I simply cannot get to the data. The web interface configuration page does not provide very many option to change this. I've been looking all over for a tool that helps me with it but found little luck.

Please help

You may be able to get at the data and/or change the security settings by removing the drive and mounting it in a Linux computer.
