Experts,
I have changed the Maint. Interval on all the mailbox store Databases from 12am >4am to 10pm > 2am so that it runs before the backup agent kicks off at 3am.
since making these changes the only databases that are running the defrag is the priv.edb and the pub.edb. none of the 3 main databases are now running.

Do I need to restart EX services ?

Thanks !

The activationSchedule attribute represents the setting for the online database maintenance schedule.

>> check on the store(s) if the same schedule is stored @ ADSIEDIT or not.

>> No need to recycle any of the exchange services
