namespace considerations for the Availability service - Exchange 2010/2007 migration

In a migration from the Exchang 2007 to 2010, is having a the same namespace for email addresses going to be a problem for getting the Availabilty service to work so that everyone can get free busy information?  Is there any documentation to support this?
