Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel

I Would like to know when I add the following line :

Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel

All lines where I use drawing functions, for example::
            New Point(contenedor_arbol.Location.X - 15, 55)
            New Rectangle(0, 0, panel_plantilla1.Width - 1, panel_plantilla1.Height - 1)

Shows the following error:
'New' cannot be used on an interface

And When I remove:  "Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel", everything works ok

If you use "Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel"
VB assumes you are using the interface "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Point"

If you don't use "Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel"
VB assumes you are using the structure "System.Drawing.Point"

If you change you code to

New System.Drawing.Point(contenedor_arbol.Location.X - 15, 55)
            New System.Drawing.Rectangle(0, 0, panel_plantilla1.Width - 1, panel_plantilla1.Height - 1)

Your code will work
