Roxio Digital Media
I am having a problem with my Roxio Digital Media Plus V7.2.1 it opens fine and burns the image fine on the cd and the cd works great but here’s “the trick once you finish burning your files on to cd you medially have to shut your computer down” that is not one time that is EVERY time please help Barrett

The first thing I would try is to remove then re-install Roxio.

ok still did not work
Are there any errors in the System logs when that happens?

no .....
You say you have to shut down the system. Is that because it is frozen? Is it frozen to the point that even the mouse pointer won't even move?

know Roxio just shutdown the whole computer down by it self......
Does the same thing happen if you burn the CD with Windows Explorer?

it does not give me that option how do you do that........

ok i see but it is more than one file im trying to burn
Try copying all the files from the CD you burned with Roxio to the CD with Windows Explorer.

You can try again and skip that file, but there might be others.

Then you might have found the problem.
Click Start>Run then enter
chkdsk /f
Agree to the prompts and allow to check the drive on restart.
After it finishes give Roxio a try.
