How to Map Enum in Java to Flex

I have a Enum in java and I have to map it to flex. Can some one help me .

Ok ... the default mapping in Flex is a string as flex does not support the concept of an enum.
My solution describes how you get something very similar to enums in Flex. I use it all the time and it works like a charm.
