housekeeping my laptop c: drive : Thunderbird local mail files & Apple iTunes

I downloaded / sync'ed almost 300 apps from Apple store & this fills up my C: drive.
How can I housekeep those downloaded apps?  Bear in mind that when I next
sync my iPhone on my laptop, I don't want those apps to be deleted fr my iPhone.

Also, recently I installed Thunderbird email client & it converted quite a big chunk
of my Outlook mails to Thunderbird mail format/files  but I don't know where it
store those files.  I don't mind uninstalling Thunderbird as I'm done with testing it.

I have less than 20MB free on my C: drive

From the link http://www.broobles.com/imapsize/th2outlook.php
looks like Thunderbird stores the converted files in
   C:\Documents and Settings\myid\Application Data\Thunderbird\...

Can I clear the above directory away?

Still trying to confirm where iTunes store the downloaded app,  but I guess it's
  C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Apple Computer\...

For iTunes stuff, the directories I guess are the likely disk space chewer are :

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Apple Computer \MobileSync\Backup\6f096f10632bd983f2039c767a093044cd278f85

&

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\6f096f10632bd983f2039c767a093044cd278f85
