Trying to synchronize Blackberry contacts to Groupwise and failing

We are using Groupwise 8 and trying to synchronize contacts with Blackberry.  We have backed up the file to a text file, erased everything from the Groupwise and Blackberry, deduped it, taken all the commas, aprostropphes, quotation marks and everything out of the file and just cleaned it up.

Then we synched to the blackberry from the file which went just fine (about 4300 contacts).  Then we tried to synch from the blackberry to Groupwise and it *always crashes*.  It does pynch some of the records but not all of them.

Anyone have any tips of why this is happening and if the problem is Groupwise or intellisynch or what?

SOOO aggrevating.

If the problem is blank fields or something like that, does anyone know how I can restrict the blackberry from accepting contacts that will mess up the Groupwise psych?

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

You said its failing at a certain mark? some get transfered over? Check which one it fails on, take the one after and delete it from groupwise? does that work?
