are you using MS Clustering Service to handle the switchover or NLB or is this functionality coming from Webwasher?

Hi Danm,

No MS clustering and NLB. Weebwasher 7.0.2 is Linex based embeded OS. Here we have option to configure Proxy HA Mode. Pls find more details about server for your information.

MWG1 - (Director Value - 2)
MWG2 - (Director value - 1)
Cluster IP -

I am browsing internet via Ip. its working fine. but when we rebooted or shutdown first active server (Example we are getting page cant be displayed upto 30 sec and then only web traffic forwading to second server.

I have configured port 80 for both source and detination proxy on the MWG HA proxy.

Can you pls help me to resolve this 30 sec fail over delay issue..

I tried finding some detailed documentation for the Web Gateway 7.0 product and all I could find was the product guide.

I'm guessing there is a time-out setting for the proxy failover that will reduce the amount of time it waits, but I didn't see anything in the .pdf that pointed to there being any such setting.

I'd recommend you add a zone to this question as I don't believe it is a VMware problem, since it does work to some degree.  There are some other zones like Proxy Anti-Virus and  Enterprise firewalls that will have more people with more experience on this particular product.
