Hello Everybody,
In my company, we are using "canon lbp7200cdn" color printer and it is installed on the network.
From the last 2 weeks, it has stopped printing. If we give a command to print, the request stays in the waiting list of this printer and just do not execute.

The printer in itself do not show any warning light. Can anybody please suggest me a solution?
Thanx a lot in advance.

Are you running through a print server, or just using IP printing?

By chance, if you look in the print server, does the printer show offline.

it shows online on the printer server. but the strange thing is that even if i switch off the printer and pull out the internet cable, it still shows online.

If you check the port settings, is the SNMP box unchecked? Also, start pinging the IP address. While it is responding, unplug and make sure it fails. If not, there is an error in the IP address. I have entered the wrong one myself when setting up a printer.

Thanx for reply,
I have exactly checked this. Yes, IP adress is failing if we switch off the printer. Moreover SNMP box is unchecked.

Try checking the SNMP to see if it reports any errors. Also, I believe this printer has a web interface. I have gone to those and seen problems before even though the printer showed "ready". Also, have you stopped the spooler, deleted everying in spooler folder, and then restarted the services?
