Trouble finding stock photos on (easy?) topic??

Hi,

I need to find some stock photos for a presentation, which I thought would be easy to find, but I can barely get anything! Maybe I am using the wrong keywords terms? Thought someone could help:

The image I need are movie/entertainment sets that are using large equipment -- for example a camera on a boom, or a cameraman/effects/sounds person/stunt person in a people-lifter (cherry-picker)... basically any kind of large equipment being used on movie/entertainment sets...

I thought it would be simple, but nothin! Any advice appreciated. Thank you!

Hey, that last one is pretty good! But so expensive!! wow. We will be needing lots of these, so not sure if those are in the affordable range. I was hoping for iStock prices : )

Those are pretty cool indeed, thanks! Didn't think of using 'crane' keyword. Still need lots more though... Possibly with some action in them? An perhaps not only cameras...

But those are a great start, thank you!

http://www.bluevertigo.com.ar/ is my favorite place to look for free stock photography. It is basically a listing of free stock photo sites. A lot of times, they sneak in a few sites that aren't so free, but its good for the most part.

You'll still have to do a bit of work for it, but this is what I found in just a few minutes:

http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=search&txt=movie+set&w=1&x=0&y=0
http://1photos.com/?s=film

Is this what you are looking for?

This just in from the out of work photographers....

Yeah, the down side of cheap stock photos is that sometimes you get what you pay for.

Sucks doesn't it.

nickg5 -- that first photo is awesome! how did you find it?? Thanks!

D brugge -- That would be true if I were looking for quality -- but I'm not, just for that subject matter -- the pictures will end up being semi-blurred backgrounds, so the quality doesn't have to be there.
www. google and in the search box put "movie sets."

then click "images"

then in all the images you see the one above, some western movie sets, etc.
then change the search word to large movie cameras, movie cameras on wheels, behind the cameras, etc.
He needs stock photos though. Google search will return all forms of copyrighted media

i'm not sure why....my sister's photo is on google images.....
These are outstanding. Thank you much, would never have found them myself!

The ones that nickg5 posted are not stock photos from what I can tell, you will need to get rights to use them before using them.
