Is there a laser pointer that works with an LED screen?

We point our Logitech R400 laser pointer at our new 55-inch Vizio LED screen, and the light of the pointer cannot be seen. Is there a special type of pointer, or a screen filter that can be used so that we can point to things on the screen?

You probably wont get what you looking for unless you find a color outside of RGB. I know this mentions LCD screens, but its basically the same concept:

You could try to find a differnt color pointer and see if that works better, but the standard red, blue and green colors seem like they would be absorbed.

Might end up looking into a nice wireless mouse instead?
