backup one table option?

does the latest version (denali/R2?) offer any new option to backup only one table?

SQL Server does not support table level backups, unless of course the table in question is allocated to it's own FILEGROUP and the file group can be backed up using BACKUP DATABASE Command.

As an alternative, you could Export the table data to a CSV file. Now in order to get the definition of your table you can 'Script out' the CREATE TABLE script and any associated objects - triggers, indexes etc.

Some third party tools like Quest's Litespeed (enterprise edition) has object level backups.
