McAfee ePO 4.5 unable to update via ISA 2006

Are you experiencing firewall rules blocking the McAfee ePO Server from accessing the internet ?

Actually it's not blocking my ePO Server accessing the internet, my problem is my ISA server is not downloading the DAT file from my ePO server. I already unchecked the "require all users to authenticate" under configuration - networks - internal - properties - web proxy but still ISA can't communicate to ePO server the reason not to download latest DAT file to the ePO server.

 i already figured out the solution on my problem. What i did was the following:

1. Go to VirusScan Console - Tools - Edit AutoUpdate Repository List.
2. Choose Manually configure the proxy settings and supply necessary details.

In this configuration, mcafee agent will be able to update the DAT.

Still not the right solution....

You need to do this from within ePO and set the proxy settings within ePO that way....
