Hello,
Does anyone know of an application that will monitor potential bandwidth from a block size to a DR site? I'd like an app located on each server that will monitor the amount of data that would be transferred. Thank you.

I am assuming that you are talking about creating block level images of disks and replicating the block level changes to a DR site.

So if you what to know how much data is likely to be transferred; create blok level backups to a local device such as a USB disk and see how much space they take up. Downloading a 30 day trial version of ShadowProtect will probably be fine for this task.

I used CA Replication software in Assessment Mode and it told me the block level changes for all my servers. You need to install the Management Console on one computer and the agent on all the servers you want to monitor.
