I've got pc that gives an error whenever a docx file is opened that states the file can't be found but it then opens the file and leaves the error message box open in the background.  Any ideas out there on what would cause this?

I had this problem once and it was due to a conflict from an older version of office not uninstalling properly.

Try the solutions in the KB below - the first one worked for me.
