We have determined that session reliability is causing poor performance on our WAN so have disabled it. We are also working through an issue with XenApp 6 where disconnected users are unable to reconnect(screen turns black for a second, then returns to client screen).<br />

Until we iron the reconnection problem out, we would like to prevent Citrix from switching idle sessions to 'disconnected' automatically. From what I understand the ICA keep-alive is designed to disconnect idle sessions, but without it enabled the sessions were disconnecting like crazy.<br />

We have since enabled it and changed the value of the timeout to 3600 seconds, which should mean that sessions will not be disconnected for 60 minutes, correct?<br />

We need this to be longer though. Any suggestions? Is there a way to put something in the default.ica file? Thanks!
