Prevent Citrix from switching sessions to disconnected when idle WITHOUT Session Reliability?

We have determined that session reliability is causing poor performance on our WAN so have disabled it. We are also working through an issue with XenApp 6 where disconnected users are unable to reconnect(screen turns black for a second, then returns to client screen).

Until we iron the reconnection problem out, we would like to prevent Citrix from switching idle sessions to 'disconnected' automatically. From what I understand the ICA keep-alive is designed to disconnect idle sessions, but without it enabled the sessions were disconnecting like crazy.

We have since enabled it and changed the value of the timeout to 3600 seconds, which should mean that sessions will not be disconnected for 60 minutes, correct?

We need this to be longer though. Any suggestions? Is there a way to put something in the default.ica file? Thanks!

I believe those are just used for when you want it to log off or end a session, not the switch to 'Disconnected' state.
