Here is the example I am trying to use.
The varables I am passing will change with every call, so a fixed form will not work.

This is what I tried, it calls the page but does not pass the data.
I have done post data in many other langues but can not see why this is so much trouble.

parameters = "command=save&text=Text&comment=none"

service = new HTTPService();
service.url = "http://domain.com/index.php";
service.method = "POST";
service.send(parameters);

parameters should be an object instead of string:

var parameter:Object = {};
parameter.command="save";
parameter.text="Text";
parameter.comment="none";
service.send(parameter);
