Visual Basic Audio Problem

Was trying to figure this out for a while now - but cant at all.
Basically what i want to do is, using Visual Basic:

When the computer has not played any audio for 15 minutes, I want the computer to press the "R" key.

Sounds simple enough i know, but i, nor my google attempts, can figure it out
much appreciated to anyone who can help

it's a component that lets u record audio with ability to detect silence...

you could use timers if there's silence for more than 15 minutes and click on the R accordingly...
